Hey Change Maker! My guest this week is Sarah Jaekle of the Sifa Collective. The Sifa Collective invests in women so they can become successful small-business owners who, in turn, invest in their communities.
Sarah Jaekle is the Advocacy Coordinator for Sifa Collective, a non-profit for marginalized women out of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. She's passionate about helping women from all walks of life understand their worth and empowering them to find their unique voice. She and her husband reside in Cincinnati, OH but frequent their friends in Tanzania often.
ABOUT SIFA COLLECTIVE:
Sifa Collective’s mission is to equip marginalized women with hope in the gospel, training in artisanal skills and the provision of tools needed to launch their own local business. We invest in women so they can become successful small-business owners who, in turn, invest in their communities.
Sifa Collective is faith-based, gospel-centered and driven by a desire to see the tools of Sifa used in the hands of women, churches and businesses in Dar es Salaam and throughout East Africa. Sifa Collective has been founded on the principle of “Train, Equip and Release.” We believe that once equipped, our students are ready and should be set free and encouraged to fly on their own.
